The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) will host the fourth quarter 2017 “Mobility Supplier Forum” on Nov. 28, 2017, at SRI International in Menlo Park, Calif. This series of meetings is intended to help automotive suppliers advance their business interests as they relate to connected and transformative technologies. This automotive forum meets quarterly in California’s “Silicon Valley” area with each meeting featuring insights from industry leading experts on issues of common concern for automotive suppliers.
AutoMobility LA brings together the entire new mobility ecosystem. The four-day press and trade event brings automakers, tech companies, designers, developers, startups, investors, dealers, government officials and analysts together in Los Angeles each year to unveil the future of transportation in front of media from around the world.
On October 9, 2017 WAJ joined forces with the Autotech Council for an event in the epicenter of innovation that brought together leaders from the auto and tech worlds to examine not only the future of cars but also how technology is transforming transportation. The event, Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel (SVRTW) featured engaging discussions on topics including next-generation powertrains and fuels, 21st Century automotive ownership, HMI, deep learning, connected and self-driving technology.
The annual Science Fair allowed car makers and their vendors and suppliers to promote their own innovations and brainstorm ways they can be adapted for new products and services in mobility. It was open to WAJ automotive journalists along with tech, lifestyle and local media and there were more than 300 influential attendees including OEMs, suppliers, developers, startups, investors, educators, recruiters and journalists.
On May 12, HELLA Ventures launched its inaugural Startup Demo Day featuring demos and pitches from some of the top startups across the mobility and technology sectors. The event included speakers from HELLA, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Autotech Ventures and more.
